Description

Desert Ironwood is the hardest wood known to North America.  Native to the desert southwest of the United States, this wood is no longer harvested. Only pieces that have naturally fallen to the ground maybe used.  Each piece is carved by an pressing a rectangular block of wood into a moving saw blade.  Every piece is unique and has different coloring and grain.
